Georgia Mining Foundation Mission Statement
To provide financial assistance and scholarships to students throughout Georgia, and to build relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools and other educational facilities on behalf of the Georgia Mining Association. In addition, to develop and assist in implementing specific projects or activities aimed at improving the understanding and appreciation of the mining industry by the general public, lawmakers, regulators, the media and others.
